Which canvas is best for acrylic painting? Here's my recent go to.
I have a commission due in October and needed to pick up a canvas for this as well as a personal project that I’ve been working on.
Client decided on a 11” x 14” canvas size and I’m planning an elongated rectangle shape and went with 18” x 36”
I do like a higher quality canvas that’s already primed and ready to go.
My recent go to has been Blick’s Art Materials Gallery profile canvas with 1-3/8” solid wood frame.
It’s light yet sturdy. If you are looking to up your game and have your painting look professional I would recommend this profile.
